PatchCams

PatchCams© is a web based update of the original CAMS© program (Contact Allergy Management System) © developed in 1999 on Microsoft Access®.

CAMS© was developed to facilitate patch testing in a clinic setting and to provide a database for the collection and compilation of patch test results, in the investigation of allergic contact dermatitis. After a decade of our experience with CAMS©, PatchCams© has emerged with additional features and is accessed via the web enabling authorised users to enter data during clinic. Importantly, data on patch test allergens and reactions can be compiled and collected across user groups. This allows us to track both new and changing patterns of allergy.

Information is collected in accordance with privacy (Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988, The Health Records Act 2001 and Information Privacy Act 2000).

PatchCams© is a joint initiative of Skin Health Institute and Monash Medical Centre campus of Southern Health, both based in Melbourne, Australia.
